• One of the prettiest trends to emerge from the wedding scene has been the flower wall. These living installations are an enchanting option for boho and folksy types who want to feel like real princess brides. How big you want to go is up to you – a full feature wall is a heady, verdant delight but just as lovely is an arrangement of flowers and leaves on a climbing frame or as an area of focus where the ceremony is set to take place. I’m a little over the use of words or phrases as a design element but woven into a flower wall it feels fresh and fun. My very favourite examples are designs that take inspiration from the floral oil paintings of the Dutch masters – all overblown, heady, gently unstructured and romantic. You like?
