• So i’ve been watching the hype about The Shoestring Collective build on Twitter and Facebook and i’m so glad i popped in yesterday to see for myself – it’s great!

This pop up shop concept is the brainchild of local designers Sera Holland and Leila Badsha and it’s a beaut!

Featuring products and designs by 16 South African design talents, this pop up space is in the Gardens Centre and will be running for a month (hopefully longer, i say). I spotted so many lust haves and once again i was blown away by the talent we have in South Africa – from detailed jewellery by Famke and Anomali to one-of-a-kind ceramics by Tamarillo, fashion by Good and Coppelia, fabrics and furniture by Handmade by Me and a host of quirky collectables and  I Want That’s in between.

I popped into the shop yesterday. So many fab things, and a lot of the prices were great too – definitely worth a visit.
