These pix are a little old. I took them when Charley was about a month old and i was brave enough to leave her at home for a few hours. I took myself off for a pedi and a waffle – perfect combo right? The waffle in question was enjoyed at The Creamery, Cape Town’s sweetest little icecream and waffle parlour.
What’s great about The Creamery?
Well as the name suggest, their icrecreams are all about fresh cream – partnered with a myriad mouthwatering flavour choices. Think pure chocolate, peanut butter or Horlicks flavour (which is insane i have to say). They add no rubbish and the result is a series of perfectly balanced flavours on any given day. You can pop in and buy a scoop or three or you can order a litre of their unbelievably delicious, made-from-scratch choices – from sea salt caramel to 65% chocolate to lemon curd swirl (!!!)
As a spoil on any given day, it really hits the mark – as a decadent dessert at your next dinner party, it’s a no brainer!
They’re closed on Mondays, open until 7pm during the week and from Thursday until Sunday until 11pm (what a cool place for a date, don’t you think?)
