We were away this weekend so sadly i missed the opportunity to quaff bubbly, browse and buy some beautiful things at the opening of the Quirky Me-Abode store at The Old Biscuit Mill. Its the brainchild of decor and design enthusiast (and fellow mag gal) Ingrid Corbett and cane and design whizz Michelle Petrie and together they’ve created a gorgeous space filled with iwantthat appeal. With a cabinet containing jewellery by local talent Janine Binneman, this shop ticks many must-have boxes for me.
i really like the blackboard paint walls and scribblings and the etched chopping boards are amazing too
(wouldn’t they make the best wedding gifts?)
i’m sure Ingrid’s amazingfantasticdelicious mirrors are going to fly out the shop doors and Michelle’s gorgeous cane lights are real statement makers too
wanting all of these
You’ll find the Quirky Me-Abode at Shop E104, The Old Biscuit Mill, 373 Albert Road,Woodstock, Cape Town

2. Once you’ve made your nomination (category 14/best design blog), you’ll need to enter a code and your email address on the right hand side of the page
3. A message will come to your mail which you can then verify
