• I love L’Orangerie and have done since they first set up store years ago. It coincided with my entrance into magazines and the notion of a styled space at home that really played on the senses (sound, smell, sight and touch) struck a chord then, and still does the same now. Whenever i visit L’Orangerie i feel the need to go home and chuck away inconsequential items, to stock up on pared down, perfectly crafted pieces, to light every single scented candle i own and to clear out the clutter in our bathroom and only display the things i know i love and that are truly beautiful yet useful. There’s a feel good-ness to this shop that no other shop owner in Cape Town has been able to replicate. For gifts and pretty things to add something extra to your home, i never leave empty handed.

My all time favourite store. Always leave feeling inspired and with a packet or two of beautiful goods.
