Pop Paint is a new paint company adding colour to the local interiors landscape and I’m loving everything about them: the range of fab, on-trend and immensely usable colours; the ultra-matt finish (I like my paint like my lipstick, super-matt. And I’ve never really been a fan of glossy paint in the home with the exception of front doors); the non-toxic water-based, non-drip and fast-drying formula that doesn’t require any primer; and the additional Pop Décor Wax product that provides a transparent protective layer that seals the paint on to your chosen item for places and objects subject to steam or heavy-duty action. Available in 500ml and 290ml jars, there’s also a teeny 25ml jar for smaller items (so you can really play with colour without the chance of getting stuck with a litre of paint you never end up using). The range is perfect for adding a shot of colour into your interiors, be it in the form of your floors, window frames, an internal door, ceilings, a feature on a wall, a DIY project or five, painting figurines to give them new life or updating a piece of furniture.
Pop Paint also has such a cool visual identity, from the quirky logo and ‘hand-batched’ feel of the preserving jars that the colours come in to the sweet illustrations (below) and the modern, simple-but-cool names of the colours.
