I absolutely love Orzo pasta – it’s so versatile and i love the texture. If you’re banting you can probably stop reading now since it’s a pasta and therefore a carb. The other night we went to Maria’s – one of my favourite restaurants and i had their signature slow roasted lamb with orzo – oh man it was so good! This salad is a little less hearty than my Greek lamb fave but there is still the comfort factor plus it’s crammed with nutritious elements and a bit of crunch from the pine nuts too. This is the kind of dish which you could eat on its own as a midweek meal but which would go so nicely with a fillet and another green salad at a weekend lunch.
