Hi guys. It’s Mandy here. Are you all well? It’s been one of those crazy couple of weeks where I haven’t touched sides, between kids and deadlines and the housekeeping running away from me, I’ve been under the radar when it comes to blogging. I’ve really missed putting together posts about the things I’ve found, seen and am currently obsessed with and have a long list that I want to share with you, so get ready! Taking the number one place of things I’m focused on at present is greening up my home. I’m in love with interiors that have lots and lots of house plants on display, from pots to hanging greenery to creeping plants. Oversized and overgrown is what I aspire to. From starting small with Peace In The Home I’ve now got some nice ferns going, quite a few air plants, one or two that I can’t identify at all, and then your usual suspects of herbs and succulents. These images are providing mucho inspiration. Most nurseries have their indoor plants clustered together so it’s easy to find suitable varieties, but as a rule for house plants to thrive they should have a couple of hours of sunlight exposure, good potting soil to start with, the occasional plant food feed and appropriate amounts of water. I’m looking at indoor trees, I’m after something with big and lush leaves, but dear me they’re expensive. A chair upholstered in green is also next on the list, something to pick up on the natural pops of green that are very slowly starting to take root in my house.
