Hello lovelies!! Thanks for your patience with the absence of posts these past few days – i’ve been in hospital for a little while, trying to get a hold of a virus that’s been messing with me and my ridiculous immune system that seems to have a mind of its own. Work and blogging have taken a bit of a back seat but luckily i had a few posts in the pipeline so i’m quickly sharing this one with you before going back under the covers. You’ve read about my indoor plant endeavours on the blog before – and how thrilled i was to finally make some headway in our old home. Now that we’ve moved house, i’m both excited and nervous about starting all over again. My lovely Fiddle Leaf Fig has taken a beating and i’m taking my time in getting my act together for our patio because of a rather non existent budget. I’ve still got my heart set on an indoor olive tree or two but i’m thrilled to see how Mother in Law’s tongue is making a comeback – its virtually indestructible, needs little water and looks fab in a contemporary scenario – and team it with orchids or cacti and you’ve got such a stunning look too! Take a peek…
Isn’t this family of succulents and cacti lovely?
And in a trio of terracotta pots, i think Mother in Law’s tongue looks fabulous!
Mother in Law’s tongue seems like a perfect partner for a contemporary space
And it looks hot in a plant stand too – check out Simply Home for plant stands you’ll love
Housed in a basket is of course another lovely look for a family of Mother in Law’s tongues!
What say you, lovelies, can you see yourself revisiting this retro plant trend?
