• Hello lovelies! I hope you’re well – here in the Cape we’re battening down the hatches in preparation for what is promised to be one of the biggest storms in years. The Captain has been to secure his boat so it doesn’t get bashed about too much in the storm and we’re waiting to see whether our new roof will withstand what we hope is torrential rain to fill up our dams.

Aside from the rain dancing, i’m super excited to be sharing this new range by talented surface designer Sera Holland today – and i think many of you will love it too! Sera’s brand Handmade by Me shares a shop space with Alex Learmont, the creator of local plants and foliage brand called Windowsill. I’ve written about them here before. Since they are shop and studio mates it was inevitable that at some stage, Sera would produce a fabric and product collection featuring their combined passions of plants, animals, colour, shape and form would emerge…and here it is…it’s beauteous!

I feel like i have been looking for this wallpaper forever and finally it’s here!! It is EXACTLY what i’ve had in my mind’s eye for our family bathroom! The question is whether to go for a pink or a dark background?

Sera’s napkins and tea towels are collectors pieces – made of really hardwearing cotton, they’re artworks on their own!

I’ve shown you my favourites from the Biotica collection but there EIGHT beautiful patterns and designs to choose from – from contrasting geometric prints to vintage-inspired flora and fauna prints and some willow pattern too…

Love these prints- and have had a thing for jungle prints for years- love that they’re becoming more popular and available in general. Foliage on green is my fave. Shared on FB

That fauna cushion is the perfect winter addition to the home, the warm colours in the midst of natural neutrals. It takes me outside and stirs the peaceful emotion. It’s beautiful.

I am obsessed with Foliage on Green. I don’t think I can live without it. Repainting my belioved Hot Pink TV room and going for green. This is equally bold but a little more grown-up. A fabric not for wallflowers.

I love Blue Willow as it is so rich in hue and so well textured. It would definitely brighten up my lounge.

Shared on FB. I love them all – but if i had to choose I think I would have to go with Foliage on Green – it’s like having the outdoors indoors and oh so fashionable right now, it’s a win win! Either way congrats Handmade By Me on the whole Biotica Range – it’s stunning!
